What are custom contact fields?
Out of the box, PlaybookIQ has a place for all the standard information you'd expect to collect and manage about your contacts. You or your industry may have other information you wish to manage that does not fit easily into the standard fields. That is where custom fields come in. You can define up to 20 custom fields. These fields are then shown when creating, editing, and viewing a contact.
How do I set up and manage custom fields?
Only the account owner can create and edit custom fields. Custom fields are set at the account level and apply to all contacts in your account. To set-up your custom fields, access the Admin link in the upper right hand corner of your screen. Click on Add custom fields. Create up to nine custom fields and click update. The custom fields will now appear as fields when you add or edit your contacts. Once you have added custom fields, you can edit or delete them by accessing the edit link under the Custom Fields heading in your Admin file.
